Housing Fund or Grihayan Tahbil: Shelter is one of the basic rights for all people and it accelerates the development process for each and every family. But it is apparent that there are many poor families lacking shelter with the congenial atmosphere for living so that they remain in very vulnerable conditions during stormy, rainy, and winter seasons. In these circumstances, APUS has taken initiative to help the abject poor and vulnerable people to have access to the government credit support provided by Bangladesh Bank for low-cost shelter construction. APUS has already been succeeded to get 175 families to have the said loan support from Bangladesh Bank and those families have been able to reconstruct their houses and dwelling in the same. APUS has already become a trustworthy organization to Bangladesh Bank for there was no defaulter in repayment of the same and this has made the APUS be credibly optimistic to receive more loan support in the years to come for its targeted vulnerable families.
